I’m shy.
but no one seems to believe me…

I was extremely shy in high school. I only began to come out of my shell when it was my graduate year. I can safely say that I have overcomed most of my shyness, but I still tend to keep to myself. Makes me feel more secure. This way no one knows enough about me to keep their mouths running. However, my shyness has helped me find some of my closest friends who took a step further in getting to know me.

I do wish I can be just a little more social. I know there is still a missing number of genuine folks I have yet to meet.

Something that just happened to me

I finally completed my B.A. in Communications and Publishing, quit my job of 4.5 yrs as a debt creditor, and travelled to Asia for the first time.

In Thailand, I held a tiger and rode an elephant and fed him bananas.

In Hong Kong, I past by the church my parents got married at.

In Japan, I made a pact with new found friends that we’ll invite each other to our own weddings.

In China, despite the cold – where I had to wear two jackets, multi-layered clothes, and a couple pairs of socks – I would without a doubt visit again.

For me, 2007 ended on a high note.
